You may be tempted to toss all of your shoes into the bottom of a box when packing for an upcoming move. This not only puts them at risk for physical damage, but also makes it that much more difficult to unpack when you arrive at your destination. If you have shoe boxes, pack the shoes in the boxes, otherwise some packing paper will protect the shoes from scuffing and other damage. It is a good idea to let shoes air out for a couple of days after wearing before packing them.
